General Package Information
All packages as well as requested dates are subject to availability and are reserved through the standard booking process (outlined on the FAQ page).
The specified time for your package (if applicable) is the amount of time you receive actual entertainment. There will be no extra charge for time spent in meetings or for equipment set up and tear down as it is all included in your package price.

The Hourly Event

A meeting will take place face to face, over the phone or using email if necessary.
The Show
An experienced Audioscenery Entertainment Director will entertain guests
for the specified amount of time by playing music and implementing the necessary event management techniques. All emcee services as well as
any other previously discussed special requests (such as games or other activities) will be taken care of at the show.
Equipment
Your show will include:
- digital music
- superior sound delivered on high quality JBL EON speakers
- a wireless microphone (available for your use if necessary)
- a complete light show with energy efficient LED lighting, lasers, etc.
(if applicable)
- a 28" flat screen LCD tv/dvd featuring standard Audioscenery visuals
NOTE: If your event or venue has tables and chairs available please reserve
one of each for Audioscenery, however, if these items are not available Audioscenery will provide them.
Price
$150/hour (2 hour minimum)
The Standard Wedding Package
A bride and groom consultation meeting will take place two to three
weeks before the wedding. A face to face meeting is preferred, however,
if this cannot be arranged it can be done over the phone. An outline of what needs to be discussed during the planning meeting will be included
in your Booking Reservation packet. There is a basic format that Audioscenery typically follows but there is plenty of room to customize
your night accordingly.
An experienced Audioscenery Entertainment Director will entertain you
and your guests by playing music, keeping the pace and flow of the reception going and by facilitating the necessary event management techniques as needed. A customized Grand Entrance introduction will
take place (if desired) when you arrive and all emcee services will be performed throughout the night. All the reception formalities and any
other previously discussed special requests will be taken care of
throughout the night. Once the bride and groom are ready the dance
will start with spotlight dances and it will continue on with a
comprehensive mix of music until the end of the night.
NOTE: If your event or venue has tables and chairs available please reserve one of each
for Audioscenery, however, if these items are not available Audioscenery will provide them.
$800 for 6 hours* of entertainment.
*Extra time is available for $100/hour.

[ Where it all began... ]
After years of performing on stage Mike's work as a DJ began when he was hosting a weekly karaoke show back in 2002. It was one of those opportunities that just "found" Mike and it was a natural fit.
In 2004 an even better opportunity was presented to Mike when he met Jim with Absolute Entertainment. They arranged to meet each other on St. Patrick's Day and after some drinks, conversation and karaoke they knew their paths crossed for a reason. Mike made the transition from the bar scene to the wedding and mobile music scene.
After two years with Absolute Entertainment Mike made the decision to create Audioscenery and it has remained a strong, client focused and referral based operation ever since. Creative ideas, new equipment and constant improvement is what takes Audioscenery (and it's clients) to the next level at each and every event.

Exceptional entertainers have an innate ability to quickly “read the crowd". Any local DJ can operate sound and lighting equipment but it takes much more talent to be able to capture a crowd.

Audioscenery understands that planning a wedding or putting together the perfect event is not easy - especially if you want it to be great.
Creating an unforgettable experience usually means there is a lengthy "to do" list and a lot of questions about the details along the way.
On the next few pages there are a few answers to some of the entertainment questions you may have.

FAQs
Q: How do I reserve Audioscenery and book a show?
Requested dates are available on a first come, first serve basis so it is important to request your desired date as soon as possible. Your date will not be reserved on the calendar until a $200 non-refundable deposit has been paid.
Here is a step by step guide to help you with the process:
1. Check availability: Contact Audioscenery via phone or submit the online availability request on the contact page.
2. If your requested date is available it will be tentatively reserved for 30 days on the calendar while you send your deposit in*.
3. Next, additional information is collected from you with an online form and you select your preferred payment method. (check or credit card).
4. When the $200 deposit has been received your date is officially reserved on the calendar. You are also welcome to pay your full balance up front as well if you choose to do so.
*If anyone requests your date while Audioscenery is waiting for your deposit you will be contacted immediately at which time you will need to either make arranements to pay the deposit or you will
have to give up your reserved date.
Q: What happens if my Entertainment Director is sick, has an emergency or can't make it to my event?
Audioscenery has never missed a show. That said, "life happens" and unexpected situations can always come up.
We handle challenges the same way we want others to handle them with us...
in an honest, efficient and effective fashion.
Any good professional has several contacts in the business and we have a
strong network of individuals that we can call upon for help if something unforseen happens.
We promise to do everything we can to make sure there is entertainment lined up for your event if an unavoidable absence arises.
Q: What type of sound and lighting equipment will be used at my event?
We have invested in the best! Audioscenery's set-up consists of high quality equipment including:

Q: Will you keep the evening moving and keep the crowd entertained throughout the event?
Absolutely! It is essential to keep things moving at the right pace so everyone is entertained throughout the entire event.
For example, Audioscenery has a typical "foundational" format for wedding receptions, however, all receptions can (and will) be customized and built specifically for you and your crowd.
Keeping a crowd happy and on the dance floor truly is an art form. When the right mix of music is paired with an appropriate amount of crowd interaction everyone begins to enjoy themselves. When your crowd becomes fully engaged they begin to unconsciously contribute to the unexplainable energy that surrounds your event. Inviting everyone to participate generates excitement and creates an unforgettable and all-inclusive event.
One of the Entertainment Director's main objectives at every Audioscenery
show is simple; present a variety of music and make sure everyone hears something they enjoy by the end of the night.
Q: What is your music selection like?
With thousands of songs in the digital library (and many more being added
all the time) there will be a wide variety of music available for your show.
If the venue has wifi we can even download songs that night!*
Have a CD with your request in the car? If so, bring it and it can be played on the laptop.
During the planning stages of your event specific types of music as well as special requests are discussed. If you would like something played that is not in the library we will make arrangements with you to make sure we have everything we need before your show. Please know that Audioscenery works very hard to make sure the appropriate music is played at the right time (with the right amount of volume). If your Entertainment Director believes a requested song is not appropriate or if someone requests something you do not want played then it will not be put on the playlist (unless it is approved by the bride, groom or the main point of contact for the event).
*Audioscenery cannot guarantee all songs will be available for download.
Q: How far does Audioscenery travel?
Shows in the Greater Omaha Area do not have any travel fees added on to the show balance and Audioscenery is able to travel to most events.
If a show is a considerable distance from the Omaha area - such as 2 or more hours driving distance (one way) - travel fees may apply.
All travel arrangements will be discussed and negotiated on an individual
basis and typically the client is just asked to provide lodging for the
Entertainment Director that is working for them that evening.
Lodging arrangements are usually made by the client, however,
Audioscenery can make the arrangements (if necessary) and the client
will be billed accordingly.
